Faculty Profile

Sanjay is the Audit Analytics Leader for Deloitte Southeast Asia (SEA) and also represents the SEA Firm on the Global Audit and Assurance Innovation Network. He is also our Audit Innovation Leader for our Singapore practice, where he provides the strategic direction in the use of data analytics and innovative technologies in enhancing the way our practice performs audit. He also helps clients transform decision making through leveraging the power of data.

Sanjay is a regular speaker at analytics-focused event for professional accountancy bodies and currently chairs the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants’ (ISCA) Data Analytics Sub-committee. He is also currently an Adjunct Lecturer in Singapore Management University (SMU) teaching the Audit Analytics elective under the SMU Second Major in Accounting Data and Analytics.

Sanjay is also an Audit Partner with Deloitte Southeast Asia with over 20 years of experience in public accounting in Singapore and Hong Kong. He brings with him extensive experience in the audits of multinational and local companies in a number of industries including those listed in Singapore and Hong Kong. Sanjay has also advised companies on their initial public offering and led financial due diligence engagements.

Sanjay is a Chartered Accountant in Singapore and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Hong Kong as well as a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of CPA Australia.
