Stephen Bull is an Associate Professor of Law, Practice, at the Yong Pung How School of Law at Singapore Management University. Prior to joining academia, he was a partner in the international law firm Linklaters, where he practised in the New York, London and Singapore offices of the firm. His practice areas included corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, insurance regulation and state privatisations. At SMU he teaches and researches in the areas of company law, partnership law, and corporate insolvency and restructuring. He is the reviewer for Partnership Law in the Annual Review of Singapore Law. He is a member of the Working Group for the joint project of the Asian Business Law Institute and the International Insolvency Institute to develop Asian Principles of Business Restructuring. He is currently working with colleagues on a textbook on Singapore corporate insolvency and restructuring law.
