Tee Chong Yu
Chong Yu is a Senior Manager in Deloitte Southeast Asia who leads the SEA Audit Analytics team in Singapore. In his current role, he provides on-going leadership and support to his team in ensuring a seamless delivery of data analytics solutions to the audit clients. He is also currently an Adjunct Lecturer in Singapore Management University (SMU) teaching the Audit Analytics elective under the SMU Second Major in Accounting Data and Analytics and has more than 10 years of combined experience in financial audit services and data analytics.
Prior to leading the analytics team full-time, Chong Yu was an audit manager with the dual responsibilities of managing his own portfolio of audit clients as well as acting as the lead for the data analytics engagement support, which included the reviews of all data analytics engagements in the planning, execution and delivery with an extra focus in showcasing the data analytics results to the clients.
His extensive experience spans across various industries such as investment fund, retail, distribution and manufacturing, oil trading, logistics, social welfare funds, airline, airport services, telecommunications and construction.
Chong Yu is a Chartered Accountant in Singapore and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
