Faculty Profile

Wan Rong is an experienced education specialist who has been trained professionally in accounting and audit. Driven by the need to make accounting easier for aspiring accountants, she takes pride in creating student-centric learning experiences for different individuals. Through interactive seminars that focus on both academic rigour and industry relevance, she is able to engage her students due to her experience in both areas. She was awarded School Teaching Awards twice in her 8 years as a polytechnic lecturer for her innovative teaching methods. 

Her educational background is firmly entrenched in accounting, for both undergraduate and postgraduate, with a slant towards data and analytics in the latter. Her professional work experience in a Big 4 firm has also made it possible for her to distinguish between academic research and realistic considerations within the accounting industry.
