Jeremy Siow is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Singapore Management University. His research examines how education, identity, and public policy shape political attitudes and intergroup relations. He is particularly interested in education politics and policy, ethnic identity, and the politics of Southeast Asia, using quantitative methods and causal inference to understand how institutions influence social cohesion and democratic participation.
Tianyao Qu is Assistant Professor of Sociology at Singapore Management University. Her research examines how social relationships shape health, well-being, and social inequality across the life course. Her work focuses on social networks, the sociology of health and illness, aging, gender, and economic sociology, with particular interest in understanding how social connections influence cognitive and mental health.
Sascha Riaz is Presidential Assistant Professor of Political Science at Singapore Management University. His research focuses on political behavior, with particular interests in immigration, xenophobia, political violence, and causal inference.
Andrew Roberts joined the Yong Pung How School of Law in 2026. He has a long-standing interest in criminal evidence and procedure. He is a co-author of Uniform Evidence, 4th edition, (2025: Thomson Reuters), and co-editor of a collection of essays on Australian Uniform Evidence Law: Critical Perspectives on the Uniform Evidence Law (2017: Federation Press). He has published widely on problems associated with expert evidence, eyewitness identification, and witness testimony.
