2017 | Ph.D in Management and Organization
Dr Lou Yun joined SMU in 2017. Prior to joining SMU, she taught the Executive, MBA, and Master programs at HEC Paris. She received her PhD in Accounting from London Business School. Her research focuses on the intersection between debt contracting and corporate disclosure. She has published in the Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, and Management Science, among others. His research interests include credit ratings, earnings management, financial analysts, and voluntary disclosure. He has taught introductory financial and managerial accounting at Arizona State University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (USA).
Academic Positions HeldCurrent Appointment: Richard Crowley joined Singapore Management University in 2016. He received his PhD in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received Bachelor's degrees in Accountancy, Finance, and Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012. His research examines financial accounting using both archival and analytical methods. Academic Positions HeldCurrent Appointment: Terry van Gevelt is Associate Professor of Urban Sustainability and Lee Kong Chian Fellow at the College of Integrative Studies, Singapore Management University. Terry is an interdisciplinary social scientist focused on bridging the sustainability science-policy divide. His current research programme focuses on communicating the impacts of complex and uncertain climate impacts to diverse stakeholders; and examining how technical solutions to sustainability challenges operate within the wider social, economic, and institutional context.
