Dr Wang Jiwei has over 15 years’ industry and academia experience in corporate reporting, data & analytics and equity valuation. He is one of the key faculty at SMU who developed the new data & analytics curriculum in the accounting and finance domain. He is also the founding program director of the MSc in Accounting (Data & Analytics) program. Dr Wang has been doing applied research on international accounting standards, corporate governance, and securities regulation.

Jerrold Soh is an Assistant Professor of Law at the Yong Pung How School of Law and was Deputy Director of the SMU Centre for Computational Law from 2021–2025. A DS Lee Foundation fellow, his research integrates computational and empirical methods to study how emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, could be utilised and regulated by law. Shaphan completed his PhD in Management from the University of California, Irvine in 2021. Prior to his doctoral studies, he was an equity research analyst at an investment bank and a Lecturer of Accounting at Singapore Management University. Shaphan’s research examines the effect of tax policies on corporate decision making. Education
