Hye Sun Chang joined SMU in 2015. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Accountancy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and B.S. in Business Administration from Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea). Her research interests lie in capital market research topics, including earnings quality, analyst forecasts, and financial derivatives. Also, her teaching interests include financial accounting and reporting.
Yin Wang, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Co-Director of MSc in Accounting (Data & Analytics) at the Singapore Management University (SMU) School of Accountancy (SOA). He earned his PhD in Management Science (Accounting) from HEC Paris, under the doctoral school of the University of Paris-Saclay, and was a Visiting PhD Research Scholar at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
Samuel Tan joined the faculty of the School of Accountancy in 2018. He previously received a double degree in Accounting and Economics from SMU in 2011, a master’s degree in Statistics from NUS in 2013, and an MS and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015 and 2018 respectively.
