Jimmy obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy (1st Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University in 2002, Masters of Science and Ph.D. in Accounting from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Prior to his doctoral program, Jimmy was a Tax Associate at PwC Tax Consulting Services and a Lecturer of Accounting at SMU. He enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with his family.

Master of Business Administration Professor Lily Kong is the fifth President and the first Singaporean to lead Singapore Management University. She is also the first Singaporean woman to serve as President of any university in Singapore. She holds the Lee Kong Chian Chair Professorship of Social Sciences, with a courtesy appointment at the College of Integrative Studies. She was previously Provost of SMU (2015-2018). Before that, she held various senior management roles at the National University of Singapore. Education
