Dr Matthew Hammerton is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Singapore Management University. His research explores different categories of value that are important for living a good life and acting ethically. He is best known for his work on agent-relative value, which examines moral theories like consequentialism and deontology. He has also done significant work on meaning in life, examining its connection to well-being, sacrifice, achievement, and luck.

Professor Cheng Chi-Ying is an Associate Professor of Psychology and IRB Chair at Singapore Management University. She received her PhD in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research examines how individuals negotiate their multiple social identities and reap the benefit of intra-personal diversity from various types of identity integration. Her research investigates identity integration of multiple self, cultural, racial, gender, and professional identities.

Dr. Cheng Qiang is the Lee Kong Chian Chair Professor of Accounting at School of Accountancy at the Singapore Management University.  He joined Singapore Management University in 2011 as the Associate Dean (Research) at School of Accountancy and served as Dean from 2015 to 2025.  Dr. Cheng graduated from Tsinghua University, Beijing and received his PhD in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, US in 2002.
