Al Lim is a Presidential Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Singapore Management University. His research examines how people navigate value, risk, and uncertainty in Southeast Asia’s rapidly changing financial and technological landscapes. His current book project, Risking Fortune, explores the social worlds of Thailand's crypto economy, drawing on more than two years of ethnographic fieldwork in Bangkok and across the region. His work has appeared in Urban Geography, Environment and Planning E: Nature and Space, and The Journal of the Siam Society, and he was awarded the H.

Dr. Ahmadreza Mostajabi is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Singapore Management University. He completed his PhD in Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School. His research focuses on areas such as innovation, competitive dynamics, and platform strategy, with an emphasis on how firms adapt their strategy in response to changes in competition and other market dynamics.

2018 Dr. Jeffrey Grove is currently a Lecturer of Political Science at Singapore Management University. He holds a PhD in political science from the University of Washington, where he was the Duck Family Graduate Fellow at the Center for Environmental Politics and affiliated with the Washington Institute for the Study of Inequality and Race. Prior to joining SMU, he taught American politics, political theory, and constitutional law at the University of Washington.
